A seasoned management team directs Xpiron’s fast-paced growth. Together, the team has significant management experience in high-growth organizations, as well as deep technical experience in databases, Web technologies, and Internet service operations.

Collectively, the management team forges the strategic vision of the company and focuses on achieving the long-term goals of predictability, profitability, sustained growth, and 100 percent client satisfaction. Xpiron’s management team is also responsible for attracting and retaining a professional workforce that meets the highest standards and for providing a rewarding environment to its employees.

Kevin Jernigan

Co-Founder and CEO

A high technology industry veteran with a life-long passion for squash, Kevin Jernigan founded Xpiron in March 2000 to harness the power of the Web to deliver a comprehensive self-booking solution for the health club industry.

Prior to forming Xpiron, Mr. Jernigan was President and Co-Founder of Emergent Corporation. Emergent grew to a $4.5 million consulting business and was acquired by Keane. After the acquisition, Mr. Jernigan continued as the Managing Director of the Data Warehousing practice.

Mr. Jernigan has been an independent consultant, advising clients on the implementation and performance administration of the Oracle RDBMS and Parallel Server products. He also worked at Oracle for more than four years, where his responsibilities included performance benchmarking Oracle database technology, creating and delivering training classes on Oracle performance tuning, and co-authoring the first edition of the Oracle Performance Tuning Guide.

Mr. Jernigan is former President of the United States Squash Rackets Association (USSRA). He holds an A.B. in Computer Science from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude in 1987.

Bruce Potterton

Vice President of Marketing

Mr. Potterton brings more than 20 years of experience in managing cross-functional teams that combine strategy, product positioning, and corporate marketing, his management experience includes successfully building and leading start-up, turn-around, and high-growth, high technology organizations to achieve strategic objectives. Mr. Potterton has built highly effective teams for organizations, including recruiting employees, consultants, agencies and/or freelancers and led them to accomplish extraordinary goals.

Prior to joining Xpiron, Mr. Potterton co-chaired the Emerging Technology Practice as a Partner of the StrataFusion Group, a high end consultancy firm. Prior to StrataFusion, Mr. Potterton founded and was Managing Partner of Potterton/West, a corporate marketing and advertising firm specializing in strategic product positioning/messaging, corporate marketing, and channel development. His management role in the firm encompassed initiation and implementation of strategic business plans, account management and planning, budgeting, and operations. He is experienced at generating and servicing corporate clientele, both as an executive and as a project manager. Under his guidance, Potterton/West’s clients included emerging to FORTUNE 500 companies in a wide range of industries, including retail, banking, insurance, hardware, and software.

Mr. Potterton holds a B.S. Degree from the University of Minnesota.
